Finance Manager
Location: Mexico City

As a Finance Manager on Teradata’s Corporate Finance team you will be responsible for:

  • Day-to-day management of all staff, including training, distribution of workload, and staff development
  • Development, implementation, and adoption of processes and tools to drive scalability, efficiency, and continuous improvement
  • Proactively interact with various stakeholders to ensure optimization of processes and introduce standard processes
  • Identify, develop, and implement best practice procedures
  • Highlight issues, identify root causes, and solve in conjunction with stakeholders
  • Maintain good relationships, communication, and escalation to embed the offshore finance team as core Corp FP&A team
  • Set direction, establish goals and objectives for the offshore FP&A team in alignment with Corporate strategy
  • Establish the optimal organizational design processes and procedures to achieve objectives
  • Responsible for meeting and exceeding Service Level Agreements and customer expectations
  • Monitor overall ERP system and interfaces, using relevant reporting, for technical issues and work with relevant owners to resolve
  • Review all staff works for accuracy and completeness
  • Adhere to timely and accurate delivery

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or another related business discipline
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in Finance or Finance-related specialties, cross-functional projects
  • 5+ years of experience in a management role, including staff management
  • Experience with enterprise-level change management
  • Experience in continuous improvement initiatives, root cause analysis, and project management
  • Genuine interest in business process standardization
  • Customer orientation
  • Drive for results and demonstrate a value-add leadership style
  • Demonstrated financial/analytical skills gained through formal education or work experience
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles
  • Attention to detail and strong work ethics
  • Proficient in Oracle Hyperion and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent reporting design and production capabilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and due dates
