Job Summary:

The Marketing Content Coordinator will act as a liaison between content requestors across the organization and the creative team to manage content and ensure workflow processes are followed.  The Marketing Content Coordinator job role includes but is not limited to:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages all marketing content development progress and tracks status
  • Owns the marketing content calendar, acts as the gatekeeper for priority content development
  • Regularly checks CMS tool for content status - works with requesters when content is stalled/delayed
  • Manages content SLAs and governs content requests accordingly
  • Assists in defining and executing content lifecycle process
  • Supports tracking of third-party content development; communicates progress
  • Participates in content planning and prioritization exercise
  • Tracks and reports content workload volume
  • Organizes content kickoffs and check-ins, including content reviews
  • Participates in content governance team(s) sessions; documents and deploys content governance decisions
  • Helps develop content performance dashboards; assembles content performance assessments, identifies trends and makes recommendations based on data/facts
  • Helps prepare organizational communication and deploys when applicable
  • Manages marketing content translation process and communication
  • Conduct content audits as needed

  • Understanding of the content lifecycle in an enterprise setting
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams across the organization
  • Self-motivated, organized and deadline-driven with the ability to manage and support multiple projects simultaneously with many moving parts
  • Inquisitive mind with a strong desire to learn
  • Stellar project management skills; detail-oriented
  • Familiar with content KPIs and using analytics tools to capture insights
  • 5+ years of experience working with marketing and sales organizations

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience handling multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage multiple project stakeholders in a customer service-oriented environment
  • BFA/BA/BS in marketing, communications, or related field or related experience
  • Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work on projects independently as well as with a team
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with CMS and content tagging
  • Experience with analytics tools
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Experience with content planning 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with Seismic/Percolate
  • Experience with Power BI
  • Experience managing a content translation process
