Summary

The CS&S APJ/Service Experience business analyst is responsible for reporting and analysis of key metrics to drive operational rigor in the delivery of our support and services.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing detailed quantitative and qualitative analysis to inform business decision-making.  As an analyst, you will enable leadership to define and monitor clear business objectives that are data-driven, highly collaborative, and operationally sound.  You will assist with tracking, reporting and governance efforts related to scope management and planning, resource and schedule management and work distribution, budget management, and service level agreement (SLA) management.

Responsibilities include: 

  • Track, monitor and provide reporting and analysis on key operational metrics including service deliverables against contract SLA’s and work charter; Service Experience Manager productivity; identification of out of scope services delivered; project margins and other financial management activities like invoicing against milestones, costing sheets and SOWs
  • Assist and advise managers on the best use of project management disciplines and approaches to deliver within margin within a fast-paced, high tech environment
  • Facilitate corporate policy changes related to Managed & Success Service Delivery
  • Provide training and support for systems, tools and reports used to track operational and business data including Financial Force, monthly project P&L and other reporting tools and systems as applicable
  • Work with internal stakeholders to ensure timely project setup in the Professional Services Automation (PSA) system and ensure compliance with guidelines and data accuracy which includes working with the Renewal management & Consulting Services Sales team
  • Regularly review PSA activity to identify any issues with project margins and evaluate open engagements and opportunities for irregularities and drive resolution of issues
  • Reconcile orders and backlog to monthly revenue outlook and work with internal stakeholders to resolve customer reconciliation issues for timely resolution and payment
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement to achieve efficiencies for tracking, monitoring, and reporting on key operational metrics

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience, preferably in a business analytics role for a customer support or services group;
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to think critically and solve problems
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; advanced Excel skills required
  • Project management experience a plus
