Senior Cloud Engineer

Job Description: 
 
Design, develop, document and implement software leveraging agile and CI/CD methodologies. Engineer applications and web services that run in the cloud, on premise or in hybrid environments. Develop simple yet highly functional interfaces with infrastructure virtualization technology and container based technology. Design new product and solutions leveraging SQL and NoSQL. Responsible for designing, implementing/resolving, testing, and documenting enhancements and defects for software applications, systems or services. Writes feature, design, and test specifications, along with planning, tracking, and providing status on assigned deliverables. Research and establish technical direction for feature development, perform related analysis, and resolve bugs. 

Minimum requirements:

Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and 3 years’ experience. In the alternative, employer will accept a Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and 5 years progressive post-baccalaureate experience. 
 
Candidate must have experience in each of the following:  
• Server-side and web-service based development experience
• Agile (Scrum, Kanban, Lean) and Test Driven Development
• Experience with IDE’s, Source Control and Problem Tracking tools
• High level programing languages: Java, Scala, Golang, Python, or C/C. 
• RDBMS (MySQL, PosgreSQL, etc,) or NoSQL.
• Build tools: Gradle, Maven, make or similar.
 
Qualifying experience must include at least 2 years of experience in each of the following:
• Building SOA based and Distributed systems or RESTful API development.
• CI/CD methodologies.
• Public Cloud (AWS) or Private Cloud (Openstack, VMWare)
