Product Owner for Support Tools, Automation, and Telemetry
Location: Tijuana, BC, Mexico (Zona Rio)

The Teradata Global Support Organization seeks a Product Owner to lead initiatives in modernizing support tools, automating diagnostic data collection and remediation, and improving telemetry. You will be a part of a larger organization applying AI and automation to transform our customer support organization.

In this role, you will apply your experience across the entire software development lifecycle - prioritizing new ideas against an existing backlog, gathering requirements and prototyping solutions with customers, driving Agile/SCRUM processes, and validating the expected impact of newly released features.

  • Lead team to identify first-hand customer service insights, challenges, and opportunities; create product strategy and roadmap, formulate requirements, and use stories for service analytics and dependent telemetry, alerting, and support tools
  • Bridge business and technology; translate business needs to engineering development; work with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Software Engineers, internal and external partners, and customers
  • Create and groom the product backlog
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations
  • Plan and manage user acceptance testing
  • Coordinate inter-project and inter-organization dependencies and ensures smooth collaboration with strategic partners
  • As a people leader, facilitate and coach team members for professional development

Your Background (Required)

  • USA B1/B2 Visa (or the ability to obtain as a condition of employment)
  • Strong English Communication Skills (Written & Verbal)
  • Technical Product Owner experience
  • 8+ years of experience with 3+ years’ Agile software development experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering or Business required
  • Experience building and supporting highly complex enterprise software products
  • Hands-on coding experience (preferred)
  • Proficient in using Jira and Excel
  • Analytics, BI, or business value modeling experience
  • Customer support skills and experience (preferred)
  • Cloud development experience (plus)
  • Demonstrated ability to execute and meet deadlines
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills. Ability to lead and influence others
  • Entrepreneurial and collaborative skills. Ability to work independently and with a team
