Our summer internship program lasts 10-12 weeks beginning in May/June and ending in August/September. Fast-paced, flexible, fun. The Teradata culture isn’t just about one kind of person. Our outstanding team of software architects and engineers work together to understand and advance emerging technologies to produce the next wave of big data analytic cloud solutions. The backbone of Teradata is its Massively Parallel Processing (MPP) architecture that runs on-premises and in hybrid clouds to manage and optimize sophisticated workloads.
An integral part of offering data driven software is to provide Customers with assurance that information security and privacy controls exist and are operating effectively. Our team reviews the security terms of contracts, interacts with all Customers through security questionnaires and audits, and performs oversight and monitoring functions to support our Customer facing security audits.
- Document information security requirements and management controls information security and cybersecurity frameworks
- Develop control test scripts and document audit artifacts
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
- Perform benchmarks in various systems
- Work effectively in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
- Must be enrolled in a BS/MS/PhD degree program in Risk Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or other relevant discipline. Note the emphasis will be on compliance and risk management of Teradata’s information security program
- A general understanding of cloud security risks and controls
- Familiarity with Information Security and Privacy requirements
- Passionate, self-motivated, and team-oriented
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- GPA of 3.5 or higher
