Database and Analytics Workload Management

Your Opportunity:

Summer Internship, work in an Agile SCRUM team contributing to all phases of the software development lifecycle (design, code, test, maintain) developing software written in C, C++, python, and SQL Some opportunity to work on machine learning / deep learning models for the candidate with background experience in these areas.

Your Business Objectives would include:

Extending the current SQL Engine workload management capabilities to include the machine
learning and deep learning engines in the Teradata Vantage system. (C, C++, SQL, python)

Contribute to improving the user experience for workload management and performance tuning
through automation and simplification. (C, SQL, python, ML/Deep Learning modeling)

Minimum Qualifications:

Completion of 3rd year or equivalent toward a BS degree in Computer Science or a related major,
or Computer Science (or related) Master’s or PhD student.

Experience, skills, and knowledge requirements:

Required:
C/C++ programming in Linux Dev Environment
Python programming

Desired:
Knowledge of relational database (SQL)
Machine Learning / Data Science
Deep Learning Modeling
