Teradata is currently looking to fill the role of Deal Desk Operations Manager. The role reports to the Global Head of Commercial Operations, who reports to the Senior Vice President of GTM Operations. The Deal Desk Operations Manager is charged with leading key initiatives to improve the function and efficiency of global deal execution, from demand identification to delivery.
This role’s responsibilities include:
- Lead initiatives to drive automation and efficiency in specific sales support processes, including pricing operations, system configuration/sizing operations, and deal management processes
- Bring ingenuity and creativity to deal execution process redefinition to reduce touches and drive accountability
- Work with stakeholders, including product management, marketing, engineering, operations, and finance partners, to capture process and technology requirements
- Collaborate with Sales Operation team to ensure delivery of technology and enablement programs
- Support development of communications, change management, and stakeholder engagement plans
The Candidate Will Have The Following Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
- 4+ years of experience, with a focus on tech enablement and process definition preferred
- Strong problem-solving skillset with ability to communicate insights clearly
- Top 5 consulting firm preferred
- Six Sigma / Lean certification preferred
- This candidate should be detail oriented, articulate, and have strong story-telling skillset
- Demonstrated skill at building strong working relationships and influencing both internal and external stakeholders
