Our Team

The Customer for Life team is seeking a motivated business-oriented intern who is ready to apply exceptional communication and writing skills along with knowledge of business practices and processes in a fast-paced, real-world environment. The intern will assist in developing a communication plan for our upcoming Teradata Universe event as well as supporting sales collateral to target customer attendees.  Along with those responsibilities, the intern will work closely with the Go-To-Market (GTM) and event teams to ensure our messaging and presentation content aligns with the overall messaging of the event.  This will be a valuable experience for any student pursuing a career in a Communications/Business/Sales function.

Our Team

The Services Operational Excellence Offer Delivery and Operational Design team translates the service offer concepts prioritized by Service Product Management into implementable plans for delivery and operations by the Customer Support & Services Organization.   The team is responsible for defining the strategy for implementation of Teradata’s CS&S service offers to include delivery methodology, processes and workflow, roles and responsibility and tools needed to deliver in a way that exceeds customer expectations.   This team operationalizes an overall portfolio of Teradata offers that drive annual recurring revenue (ARR) growth and our overall corporate strategy. 

Your Opportunity

  • Review the current processes and templates required to deliver Tier 1 Offers and make recommendations for improvement based on guidance from Sales and Delivery Roles
  • Design and develop standard customer-facing presentations and communication assets
  • Identify and recommend analytics for measuring offer success
  • Review the document repository for accuracy and completion to recommend a plan for meeting the minimum requirements for the Tier 1 Offers.
  • May perform additional projects upon request

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in a BS/MS degree program in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing or related field
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Must be graduating between December 2020 – June 2022
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
