You will support the Teradata Global Security team in delivering security projects and initiatives that have a direct impact to our employees and customers. You will work for our fantastic Sr. Program Manager within the Teradata Global Security department and have direct interaction with brilliant technologists and leaders from within Global Security, Product Development, Product Management and Information Technology.

  • The Global Security Project Manager will focus on tactical implementation of the Global Security roadmap and working with Global Security stakeholders to define and develop technical requirements, translate into execution tasks and track status.
  • Run daily stand-ups to monitor work progress using SCRUM approach, recording tickets in Jira and keep documentation up to date.
  • Define and maintain internal controls and gather data for dashboards to track performance and provide insights around key performance and process indicators.
  • Collect and leverage data from numerous sources to solve strategic, tactical, structured, and unstructured business problems.
  • Develop project materials & documentation, including high-fidelity presentations, recordings, and customer-facing materials.
  • Clearly communicate progress and outcomes. Deliver business analytics, insights, and guidance to support business decision making.
  • Provide a status update that will help Sr. Program Manager to determine what projects move forward an in what priority order.
  • Support preparation for and facilitation of meetings to align on decisions and clearly communicate project status (including project schedules, financials, risk identification and regular updates).
  • Use sound business judgment and regularly measure the progress and proactively seek out new and improved data for visibility to ensure that Teradata Global Security teams stay aligned with organization objectives.
  • Help Teradata Global Security associates follow our program and project management framework and tools.
  • Focus on reducing risk exposure and issue prevention and document our progress.
  • Provide project management support and drive process changes for initiatives of varying size and scope.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Relevant Bachelor’s (BS/BA) plus 1-3 years’ related experience.
  • Three years leading day-to-day detailed aspects of complex technical projects that were delivered on time and on budget.
  • Experience with performing business analysis and practicing best practices.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
  • At least one-year experience with JIRA with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent technical writing skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions and vice-versa.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and soft skills with the ability to drive mindful discussions that lead to solid decisions.
  • Familiarity with various engineering development practices.
  • Demonstrated experience using SaaS-based technology solutions such as Workday, ServiceNow, MS teams, Office 365 (O365), JIRA, Confluence is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications


  • Certified Associate in Project management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred
  • IIBA Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA) is preferred
  • Certified SCRUM Master (CSM) is preferred
