As the Technical Enablement Lead supporting our growing Go-To-Market (GTM) organization you will work closely with senior GTM leadership to ensure both our Customer facing organizations and our customers are equipped with the materials and programs needed to be successful. You/your team will develop the core technology training that will be leveraged by internal and external stakeholders, to successfully enable our customer obsessed vision and drive consumption of Teradata. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead our technical enablement roadmap to ensure our internal sales team and external customers are provided the tools and training needed to successfully leverage Teradata
  • Become a subject matter expert and voice for cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Product) in the organization
  • Engage key stakeholders and cross-functional leaders to ensure readiness for training
  • Creatively solution training requirements to ensure a positive user experience for stakeholders
  • Partner with sales leadership and broader enablement team to identify knowledge and skill gaps across the Field team and roll out targeted programs
  • Establish training standards for technical delivery team
  • Direct all Technical and Product Training and Enablement activities including content asset creation, course development, deliver and technical training roadmap for course delivery for all levels from new hires to experts
  • Establish processes to monitor impact of training and enablement workshops and materials, collecting feedback on instructors and courses to determine effectiveness and identify areas for improvement
  • Prioritize all incoming requests and direct developers to manage deadlines for new training and enablement and updates to existing courses.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years broad technical experience interacting with sales, marketing, or services environment, ideally within the IT or a related industry, direct Teradata experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills including the management of high-caliber motivated managers and team members and the ability to resolve escalated issues that arise
  • Proven ability in building credibility, working with, and influencing internal and external leaders
  • Execution beyond delegation, being able to design, develop and deliver in region enablement as needed
  • Excellent communications skills, including in dealing with senior leaders
  • Strong organizational agility in an enterprise environment and proven cross-functional collaboration capabilities
  • Experience in change management and leading complex, organization-wide programs and projects
  • Demonstrated problem solving ability with an ability to manage through ambiguity and positively manage conflict to drive positive business results.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a remote team, driving successful outcomes with virtual teams
  • Comfortable in an agile, fast-paced, changing environment

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Experience in design, development and delivery of technical training and enablement programs
