Data Control Analyst
Location: Tijuana, BC, Mexico

The Teradata Global Data Control Analyst is a key member of an expert team of support analysts, focused on managing and execution of Teradata’s supply chain management processes. The successful candidate will have a solid foundation/ understanding of supply chain management functions with the ability to read/ understand and communicate develop release (DR) information as provided by engineering.  The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, experienced, responsible analyst with the ability to research details and is ready to contribute to Teradata’s success.

The role of the Global Data Control Analyst   includes but is not limited to:

  • Work with Engineering, Service Planning, Teradata Global Inventory Planners, and 3rd part provider (Flextronics) to review, interpret, and timely completion of task related to BOM (build of material), RSPL (recommend spare parts list) cross-reference and upgradeability data updates within Oracle  

  • Collaborate with Service Planning & 3rd part provider (Flextronics) to ensure timely and accurate loading of Oracle spares data relating to source, lead time, pricing, and Recommended Spare Parts List

  • Supports global inventory planning, service planning, and order fulfillment infrastructure in relationship to spare parts logistics

  • Responsible for ongoing review and updates/ corrections for spares inventory item statuses (final buy, not available, active, etc.) working with global planners, service planning, and TD finance

  • Interfaces with other Teradata CS groups to ensure ERP system updates completed for NEW Subi creations and/ or updates to existing sites as well as NEW CSR data elements to ensure spares ordering process flows correctly and without delay

  • Engagement with internal CS field for supporting documentation related to SUBI and Install base data to ensure accurate data for spares ordering processes

  • Creation of Internal Requisitions within Oracle for inventory returns from all locations outside the US as communicated by internal global logistics inventory planners and analysts

  • Manage the relationship and transactional task related to inventory scrap orders with scrap providers, Globally. Engaged with internal logistics team and outside vendors to ensure the process is timely and accurate

Basic Qualifications

  • Fluent English (Written, Verbal)
  • 0-2 years of related experience within Supply Chain or Logistics
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Ability to plan and organize

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Business or related experience in spares inventory
  • Experience analyzing data
  • Experience with Oracle
  • Ability to read/understand engineering change documents
