DATA ENGINEER

As Data Engineer you will be responsible for finding trends in data sets and developing algorithms to help make raw data more useful to our Data Scientists

Key Responsibilities:

Design, construct, install, test and maintain highly scalable data management systems

Ensure systems meet business requirements and industry practices

Research opportunities for data acquisition and new uses for existing data

Develop data set processes for data modeling, mining and production

Integrate new data management technologies and software engineering tools into existing structures

Requirements

You will need deep knowledge of SQL database design

You need to be able to use Linux/Unix systems

You will need to know some programming languages like Java or C++ or Python

You will need Native Japanese and English language skills, or Fluent English and Level N2 Japanese language skills.

Data engineers also need communication skills to work across departments to understand what business leaders want to gain from the company’s large datasets.
