Role Description

As a Global Mobility Consultant, you will be based in Prague/Czech Republic and report to the Senior Manager of Global Mobility.  This is a global role with a strong focus on the tax legislations/implications and the EU posted worker directive, including assignment structure.  The successful candidates should have a good understanding of International HR practices and international tax and payroll regulations. 

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Ensure overall compliance with international tax, payroll and social security regulations for cross-border travel
• Preparation of assignment related documents, income & tax calculations, and assignment cost estimations
• Involvement in processing of shadow payroll in up to 9 countries
• Monitoring of home and host countries tax return process for cross-border traveller
• Local contact for Czech business travellers and those requiring a Czech work permits
• Engagement with international business traveller tracking
• Compliance surrounding the EU Posted Worker Directive
• Support the HR and functional departments in home and host regarding international assignment related questions, assignment types and processes (payroll process, immigrations etc.)
• Interface to all internal providers (payroll in respective home and host companies, controlling, inter-company reimbursement, tax department)
• Point of contact for external tax and payroll providers Support on the optimization and implementation of the international assignment policy & process and assignment related concepts and guidelines
• Other duties as assigned

 Skills

Relevant working experience of at least 3-5 years must cover following areas:

• International assignments from non-EU to EU countries is a must
• Experience with expatriate tax, including the tax legislations and implications of international assignee’s is a must (the perfect candidate will have a global tax advisory experience from one of the consulting companies, such as Big4)
• Excellent understanding of the assignment life cycle and the associated issues
• Experience with payroll or compensation experience is preferable
• Advanced verbal and written English skills
• Experienced user of MS Office package (Excel, Word, Power Point)
• EU Citizenship
• Operational focused personality
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Self-directed, keen on learning & the ability to work independently are required
• Strong problem-solving skills and resource optimization techniques
