Job profile: Software Engineer

Education: Bachelors/Masters in Engineering, preferably from a Computer science engineering background.

Job Responsibilities:
Drive design and development.
Drive requirements specification, product architecture, HLD and LLD.
Translate requirements into use-cases.
Articulate choice of tools and benefits to enable decision making.
Work on enhancements and bug-fixes.

Preferred Experience:
5+ years in product development.
3+ years of experience in developing backup streams software.
3+ years of experience in developing High availability and load balancing interfaces.
Strong development experience in Message queues, synchronization.
Strong development experience in Systems management and monitoring.
Working knowledge in a Linux/Unix environment.

Skills:
Development/Implementation of Backup, Restore, Snapshots and Live replication.
C++ - Intermediate to Expert Level.
Java – Intermediate level.
RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ or any enterprise/mid-range messaging.
gdb debugging.
RDBMS.
