Think Big Analytics – AI and Emerging Practice Head (GDC)

The GDC (Global Delivery Centers) are Teradata’s nearshore/offshore services organization, consisting of over 2200 consultants based in India, Pakistan, Philippines, Czech Republic and US. Our GDC consultants bring deep industry, technical and consulting expertise across the entire Teradata services portfolio ranging from data warehousing to data science and analytics.

The GDC Think Big Analytics – AI and Emerging Practice Head is accountable for the Think Big Analytics practice across the GDC. He/she will develop the overall practice strategy for the GDC and lead, manage and support the execution of that strategy. He/she (in partnership with practice partners from Global Think Big Analytics, GDC Center heads and other key GDC LT members), will develop the GDC’s AI and Emerging Practice capabilities and services in terms of skills and tools. Understanding this rapidly changing market and ensuring that we have the services and capabilities in place to rapidly grow our market share.

The GDC Think Big Analytics Practice Head is a thought leader and role model who will lead and drive the AI capability within the GDC, ensuring that a culture of field based development, reuse of best practices and IP, creation and presentation of white papers and speaker engagements/participation in internal and external industry forums, become the norm.

The GDC AI Practice head , reporting to the Global Analytics Practice head -GDC, will be a key member of the GDC leadership team.

The organization works with a technology-agnostic approach but uses Teradata software assets and frameworks to target complex, high-value use cases that require scalable and agile infrastructure to deliver results.

• AI Delivery Excellence: analytics project delivery leadership and customer engagement management
• AI: analytical / mathematical/ Deep learning / Supervised Learning / Self learning modeling and execution on open source and Teradata technologies
• Analytic Solution Development: data / feature engineering and software engineering
