As a Security Analyst, you will be a member of our internal analytics team responsible for helping deliver solutions that we deploy internally for Teradata as well as externally for our end customers. In this role, you will work with the Data Warehouse Analytic Development team to support the deployment of new capability. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring regulatory and data privacy compliance for all deliveries, disaster recovery documentation, planning and execution.

Role and Responsibilities
• Protect data warehouse ecosystem and data by defining access privileges and control structures
• Build and execute control process to support SOX and GDPR compliance
• Administer data governance and security tools that protect our data at rest
• Collaborate with development scrum teams to ensure controls are built into newly developed analytic solutions
• Design and conduct application or project security audits
• Design and implement secure data architectures and reporting structure
• Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory and cultural data privacy requirements
• Business Impact Analysis (BIA), risk management, risk mitigation for key analytic deliverables
• Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP) and Execution for Data Warehouse ecosystem
• Advising application development teams on security design concepts
Qualifications
• 8+ years of Operations positions preferably in Data Warehousing organization
• Regulatory Compliance experience with Sarbanes Oxley, GDPR, CCPA, HIPPA, and COBIT
• Drafting and Writing Security Guidelines
• Experience conducting risk assessments
• Knowledge and understanding of application security industry best practices
• Experience using data privacy tools
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
