External Description:

Job Title: Test Architect 
Work Location: Hyderabad 

Responsibilities:
• Own test strategy & test plan for system integration and performance testing of the product
• Strategize testing methodologies across multiple areas 
• Correlate with customer problems to improve test coverage across multiple complex areas
• Improve test efficiency & testing processes
• Analyze test escapes and timing related defects
• Create benchmark specifications and plans for database features
• Designing test environments and test data creation
• Conceptualize and build reusable new test & data generation frameworks
• Understand & build the customer test environment, production system configuration
• Work with Product Management, software architects and designers, engineering managers, release managers related other scrum teams to establish test strategy, test plans and quality metrics
• Review of the product enhancement feature and design specifications and interdependencies
• Establish regression detection and reporting methodologies
• Setting standards and process improvements with all stakeholders for quality deliverables

Requirements
• Graduation or post-graduation on Computer Science or Electronics with overall experience of 12 years or above
• Prior experience of at least 3 years as a test architect, preferably for Integration and Performance test phases
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
• Understanding and designing test frameworks for test automation and testing and technology trends
• Defining and measuring quality standards and metrics of the associated products
• Proven experience on different types of testing including functional, integration, security, stress, performance etc.
• Experience in designing and implementing performance benchmarking methodologies
• Working experience in Agile Software Development with exposure to test driven development
• Passionate about testing and quality
• Testing experience in database and/or data analytics products across various releases

Preferred Skills:
• Good fundamental knowledge in Software and Test engineering
• Experience in Linux/UNIX platforms, database concepts
• Good knowledge on Cloud platforms
