As the Lead of the Data Warehouse Operations, you will be a member of our internal analytics team responsible for helping deliver solutions that we deploy internally for Teradata as well as externally for our end customers. In this role, you will work directly with Product Management and Development teams to optimize the processes supporting our development and deployment activity.

Role and Responsibilities
• Coordinate tasks of DBA’s, Engineers, Process Analyst, and Support Analyst
• Design, develop, deliver, best practice processes to support Teradata’s analytic ecosystem and to ensure environment is kept at most current GCA version
• Orchestration lead for all analytic ecosystem upgrade activities and tasks
• Maintain application/tool certification matrix
• Work with Infrastructure team to procure hardware needed for overall analytic solution
• Collaborate with Engineering and Customer Support organization for co-authored or closely aligned solutions
• Oversight of Teradata’s Managed Services for Operational Services
• Overall responsible for ensuring support services meet designated SLA’s
• Develop new solutions that are high quality, scalable, reliable, and reusable
• Work collaboratively with the Development and Product Management teams to optimize their development process and deployment efficiency
• Investigate technologies that can be leveraged to improve efficiencies of our organization i.e. Security, SOX/GDPR, Compliance, auto provision and decommission of user accounts.
• Build process and supporting automation to support testing and deployment

Qualifications
• 10+ years of Operations positions preferably in Data Warehousing organization
• In depth knowledge of analytical toolsets and supporting processes
• Experience with analytic ecosystems architecture and support infrastructure
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker a plus
• Experience with Teradata a plus
• Experience support Agile development process and tools
• Experience with Source Code Control, Change Management, Test Tools and CI/CD process and tools
• Experience implementing operational changes to improve development/deployment efficiencies
• Strong organizational, analytical and project management skills
