External Description:

We are searching for an enthusiastic and articulate business associate to join our team as an Accounts Receivable and Collections Analyst. As a member of our team in the Atlanta area (John’s Creek), you review accounts and trade receivables, identify notable delinquencies, and oversee daily collection efforts on behalf of our Americas Region business unit. Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager, you also review statements and invoices, investigate payment applications, and resolve cash receipts and credits as necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Assume a proactive role in the centralized credit and collection process to resolve delinquent accounts
  • Resolve internal and external customer queries and disputes in a timely manner
  • Perform account reconciliations when required and adhere to strict monthly targets set forth by the Americas Collections Manager
  • Collaborate with the Collections Team to incorporate best practices to improve DSO, operating cash flow, and help minimize aging debt
  • Ensure all unidentified and unresolved receipts are closed out and resolved promptly
  • Accurately document journal entries and adjustment postings with respect to: refunds, tax adjustments, bank charges, discounts, and small write-offs
  • Complete various end-of-month activities, assist with audits, and prepare reports as required

Requirements:

  • Verifiable experience in collections
  • Must be meticulous, detail-oriented, and have strong numeracy skills
  • Capable of reaching targets and meeting deadlines
