External Description:

This position is a Managed Services Pre-Sales Partner within the Teradata Professional Services Organization supporting the Mid-Atlantic accounts. This is a client-facing, quota driven sales position that works with the account teams for existing and prospective customers to position and sell Managed Services.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Responsible for selling Managed Services to Teradata Mid-West customers, by working closely with account teams to educate them on the available offers from MS.
• Engage directly with the customer to position and sell the MS solution including scoping, pricing and contract negotiations.
• Grow and maintain the existing MS accounts through identification and positioning of appropriate expansion offers.
• Closing and transitioning the opportunity through the sales life-cycle
• Maintaining an accurate funnel and outlook process
• Input into offer management for program content development Bachelors Degree or equivalent
• 5+ years IT experience including 3+ years scoping Professional Services
• 3+ years of outsourcing experience
• Teradata PS experience desired
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Works independently
• Travel is required within the DC, MD, VA area
