As an integration architect for TERADATA'S Strategic Offer Management team, you will be responsible for guiding product owners and managers, engineers and other stakeholders on how they fundamentally address their delivery areas with respect to end-to-end customer experience. These insights will be based on a combination of extensive experience working with customers, understanding the market, an inherent customer-focus and consultative mindset. Integration Architects must understand the complex customer needs of the analytic ecosystem to help define, distill, deconstruct, sequence, design, and implement solutions with multiple, disparate stakeholders. Fundamentally, the ability to demonstrate how TERADATA'S products and services can be integrated, deployed and operated in the field for customers is critically important and the core focus of this position.

Interesting Work That You’ll Do:

  • Elicit and define needs used in offering vision and manage all efforts related to all aspects of offering delivery
  • Develop business requirements and plan for an offering
  • Develop market opportunity analyses, contribute to market POV, and monitor market trends to identify growth opportunities
  • Define and deliver on innovative offering elements through hands-on development and deployment of prototypes by determining customer requirements based on market analysis, target features / use cases, design plan, and design specifications.
  • Monitor day-to-day execution of offering development by collaborating closely with functional teams in an Agile environment
  • Communicate with excellence across all levels of the organization
  • Manage both internal stakeholders and external customers
  • Multitask between projects and shifting priorities
  • Utilize knowledge of customer business problems to help develop, deploy and operate solutions using TERADATA'S UDA framework

Secondary responsibilities:

Accountable for solution quality and accuracy to meet customer requirements.  Deliver high level of customer satisfaction by defining and negotiating development priorities with product owners in Offering Management to ensure solutions are properly scoped. Identify customer pain-points, drive end-to-end customer solutions with various groups to understand the end goal via actionable activities.  Identify patterns across customer implementations to create greater efficiencies for the solution process. Abstract the commonalities to develop and deliver reusable solution templates for more efficient and effective Teradata projects. You will farm current engagements in partnership with sales for future solution ideas and development.

Basic qualifications:

  • Minimum US Permanent Residence
  • Hands-on experience with delivering solutions to customers in a consultative manner; ability to take these experiences and define, articulate, design and implement end-to-end customer-focused solutions that will be implemented across multiple functions that will delight customers.
  • Undergraduate degree in computer science, business or related technical field
  • 2+ years of product management experience in a software technology business
  • 3+ years of consulting or similar customer interactive and solution experience
  • Experience of Open Source technologies such as Hadoop, Kafka, Spark, Presto, TensorFlow, Giraffez, Hygeia, and others.
  • Experience/knowledge of Cloud technologies
  • Ability to prioritize competing complex priorities, complete actions, and deliver high quality results

  • Excellent facilitator, listener, and clear consistent communicator

  • ‘Voice of the Customer’ perspective, able to articulate, define, and drive customer-focused solutions from a complete end-to-end view and coordinate activities across a large array of internal stakeholders in a matrix-managed manner
  • Ability to create and own the solution vision and manage the solution from a practical end-to-end customer experience perspective
  • Ability to lead and facilitate project meetings, team coordination, issue resolution, and action item tracking

Desired skills:

  • Experience/knowledge of TERADATA products
  • Hands-on experience with relevant technical concepts; able to effective use them in planning and decision-making with occasional guidance.
  • Ability to analyze customer needs, TERADATA position/strategy and compare that to competitors/market and perform analysis, estimate market potential of solution, own the solution creation and delivery.
