External Description:

This is a busy and varied operational HR role providing generalist HR support to the Teradata business primarily in the Nordic countries, Denmark, Sweden Norway and Finland.

We are seeking to recruit an HR professional who is keen to continue his/her development in an HR function, within a leading global player in the IT industry. This role will assist to support the approximately 150 employees in a dynamic, growing multinational organization.
Although the HR Business Partner may not have in-depth knowledge of any particular HR function, he/she has the knowledge to spot issues/problems, proactively address concerns, and how to research a solution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as Business Partner and provide generalist HR support to all organizations in the Nordic Region, including guidance to managers on employment law and effective use of HR-related systems 
  • Support the timely deployment of HR programs with typical examples being performance management and compensation cycles 
  • Data preparation and entry into various HR systems related to new hires & leavers, job & compensation changes
  • Communicate a consistent message on all HR policies and initiatives and ensure that managers understand and buy into this approach
  • Ad Hoc HR Admin tasks including local reporting
  • Key Requirements

We are looking for candidates with a few years of HR experience, ideally in a fast-moving environment with a high volume of HR transactions. This should ideally be generalist experience, but could have been focused on one or other areas of HR expertise:

  • 5-7 years’ experience within the field of HR
  • Experience with the delivery of HR programs such as performance management, training & development, and compensation, and with typical HR administrative tasks including employment contract management 
  • Able to work independently under pressure and have a “can-do” attitude 
  • Strong dedication to internal customer satisfaction, responsiveness, and timely delivery 
  • Fluent in English & Swedish (any further Nordic language is advantage)
  • Well-developed IT skills (MS Office)
  • Experience with Workday is an advantage
  • Prior experience with Nordic HR/Employment Law
