We are at a pivotal point in our transformation to organize and modernize our people, processes, and tools across Customer Support and Services. Cross-functional practice areas will drive Salesforce Service Cloud and ServiceNow implementations and provide on-going support. As Resource Manager, you will play a big part in this transformation by helping to position people where they’re needed in diverse practice areas. This requires that you have a detailed understanding of where resources are currently located within the organization and what they can do.  You will act as an advisor to the Practice Area Managers, Recruitment and HR to ease project staffing inside practice areas. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage 10-15 people in North America
  • Identify individual skills levels and certifications to confirm the right people are on the right projects at the right time
  • Validate and process resource requests for assigned practice areas
  • Direct the resource distribution, and inform team members and stakeholders what’s realistic for staff in terms of availability
  • Forecast and plan staffing demands and constraints, including resolving resource conflicts
  • Maintain communication with HR to confirm up-to-date resource records to ensure positive workflow

 

Requirements:

  • Must be in the San Diego area or be willing to relocate
  • Experience in Resource Management in an Enterprise Agile environment
  • Familiar with Agile best practices
  • Experience putting together teams for implementations of Salesforce Service Cloud and ServiceNow
  • Mastery knowledge of industry-leading development tools and database technologies
