Title : Test Engineer (III)

 

Hiring Goal : A test/automation designer capable of handling test execution, automation frameworks, choice of tools, capable of handling overall test strategy.

 

Responsibilities:

Learn Teradata Filesystem and deliver comprehensive test design/plan. Test fixes and new feature enhancements. Automate existing tests and build new test framework. Work towards better test coverage for existing file system functions and features. Deliver black box, fault injection, feature, stress tests with highly automated and repeatable fashion.

Demonstrate passion to deliver quality products. Work with Dev teams, incorporate change in processes and documentation and deliver on Quality and automation focus.

Preferred Experience: 6+ years in software test design/strategy, execution and automation. Strong Python based development knowledge is required. Strong understanding of Operating Systems concepts. Working experience with server storage applications such as File System, databases, backup software, etc. Good working/testing knowledge in Unix/Linux environment
