Position Description/Major Responsibilities:

 

• Maintain, design, code, debug and test enhancements.
• Ability to take ownership of design and implementation of new features
• Write feature, design and test specifications.
• Perform requirements analysis, performance analysis and problem analysis.
• Give technical guidance and enhance competitive advantage for Teradata database.

 

Essential Skills:

 

• Very strong working knowledge in Core Java.
• Very good understanding and working knowledge of latest Eclipse IDE and NetBeans IDE.
• Knowledge of web technologies and latest Eclipse plug-ins/NetBeans plug-ins will be an added advantage.
• Ample knowledge of JAVA FX and Netbeans Platform (RCP).
• Extremely Proficient in Data Structures, OS Primitives and Java Generics
• Very good understanding and working knowledge of Java Design Patterns
• Very good working knowledge of scripting/regular expression.
• Strong analytical abilities involving complex software.
• Basic knowledge of RDBMS.
• Knowledge of Teradata will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of JIRA and SVN is must along with Git.

 

 

Qualification/Educational requirements:

 

• Graduate or Master’s degree or Ph.D in Computer Science.
• Considerable programming experience in Java language and related web technologies
• Should be a fast learner with very good written and oral communication skills.
• Should have the ability to understand, and work with, complex software.
• Should be open to learn new tools & technologies.
