External Description:

Responsibility:

• Focus on providing presales support of Teradata everywhere and big data solutions including cloud, hardware, database and professional services and related technology products including BI and ETL tools.  Provide data warehouse and big data consulting services, thought leadership and technical and industry expertise to Teradata clients.
• Help secure new engagements by demonstrating how Teradata EDW and big data products and services can solve the client’s technical and business problems. Support sales motions, demonstrations, and scoping of Teradata Professional Services offers.
• Engage in presales activities e.g. preparing proposals and carry out presentations
• Team work with sales and PS team and TBA teams.
• Participates in customer and team relationship building.
• Requires 25%+ travel with schedules determined by specific customer demand.

Qualification:

• Deep knowledge in EDW and open source Hadoop big data solution offering including platform, database, open source components and architecture etc.
• Banking / Insurance / Securities industry experience is preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree or above from top ranking university of China is preferred.
• 8+ years experiences for related industries presale / consulting services.
• 3+ years experiences in Teradata EDW presales and/or implementation.

  银行/保险/证券行业经验者优先。
  中国一流大学本科以上学历者优先考虑。
  8年以上相关行业预售/咨询服务经验。
