Reports to GDC Customer Success Lead

Role Summary

We are looking for a world class Delivery Excellence Lead to take on a pivotal role within the GDC. This person needs to have a passion for Delivery Excellence and how it directly impacts Business Outcomes.  The Consulting Delivery Excellence Lead will work with the Centre Delivery Excellence Practice Heads within each of the GDC Centers (Salt Lake City, Prague, Islamabad, Lahore, Mumbai, Pune and Manila) enabling them and leading them through driving effective and appropriate models of Delivery for the services provided by GDC.

The Delivery Excellence Lead will have final accountability for projects delivered from the GDC working in union with the Centre Delivery Excellence Practice Heads and the Account Deliver Excellence Mangers. The successful candidates needs to have a wide knowledge of delivery models rooted in Agile, DevOps through to Traditional Waterfall project approaches within an IT environment. The Role has overall responsibility to ensure we are successfully delivering to customer, resolving service execution issues (tuning them into opportunities!) and partnering with GDC/ Region practices and GDC leadership to improve delivery efficiency.

The role will be a pivotal player in the relationship between GDC DE Practice heads - Geo DE Leads and PMs.

Key Responsibilities

• Driving delivery excellence to ensure customer success focus, helping mitigate delivery risks, resolving issues
• Ensuring and driving that the GDC fulfills its commitment in achieving Scope, Timelines, Cost and Quality
• Partner with our GEO Consulting Excellence Leaders to ensure that GDC is correctly aligned to models of engagement delivery
• Support presale and bid process to ensure that GDC can approve project/engagement scope cost and risk
• Manage the relationship with and enable Centre Delivery Excellent Managers to be successful in their specific engagement ensuring that they are fully able to carry out their role in conjunction with the GDC Customer Excellence Leads
• Executive sponsor of strategic projects
• Drive appropriate use and reuse of tools/accelerators to ensure cost effective project delivery
• Driving benefits between a close working relationships within Teradata Practices and within the GDC

Key Performance Indicators

• Demonstrate the Successful delivery of GDC Projects and management of escalations
• Growth of Teradata solution revenue ($M) related to GDC delivery (GDC HC/Services)
• Demonstrate that GDC Delivery Excellence is fully engaged with Corp. and Regional Delivery Excellence Leads
• Able to demonstrate successful interaction with Customer Excellence / Client Satisfaction
• Consulting project margin ($M) - ensuring overall management GDC Cost of Delivery with Delivery Assurance
