 KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

• Support a Teradata Sales and Service Division organization -- an Country GM, Sales Directors and their sales teams, including:
• Evaluate bid pricing and terms & conditions, identify risks and options and offer recommendations to sales management.
• Provide price structuring & scenario analysis relevant to particular sales scenarios
• Consolidate opportunity pricing & prepare revenue recognition analysis for major bids
• Assist sales teams in coordinating bid reviews with appropriate levels of management
• Ensure that appropriate levels of approval have been obtained at region and corporate level for all bids as determined by Corporate Policy.
• Create and maintain region/area allowable bid discount schedules
• Gather and disseminate general product pricing information
• Monitor price & cost changes, and other product information
• Understand data analytics technology and competitor products and tactics
• Provide opportunity & competitive feedback to APAC region/corporate level pricing
• Provide general pricing & commercial advice for sales teams

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Team-Oriented and cross functional
• Multi-tasking (i.e. handling numerous major bid at the same time)

EXPERIENCE / SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 5 years experience in a commercial role, ideally pricing (but not necessary)
• Experience in the SW or IT industry preferable.
• Exposure to a professional services environment advantageous.

Qualifications 

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or Marketing
