The Country Marketing Assistant is responsible for:

The support with development and execution of the local Eastern Europe Marketing plan and its alignment with sales objectives across the area, via the deployment of events and demand generation campaigns. The overall objective is to drive business success in the area of data and analytics.
It will be important for this person to work closely with several different stakeholders within Teradata (Sales, Consulting, and International Marketing) as well as with the stakeholders outside Teradata (business networks, event agencies, partners etc) to position Teradata as the market leader in data and analytics.
This role is diverse; it requires self-initiating, creativity, flexibility, enthusiasm, drive and commitment with a varied, interesting range of activities and tasks, in a dynamic organisation.
This position reports to the Sales Manager, Eastern Europe. The NORDREE (Nordics, Russia and Eastern Europe) region is part of the International Region which includes Asia Pacific, Japan, Europe and Middle East Africa.

Responsibilities will include:

• Supporting with creation and execution of a fully integrated Marketing plan aligned with the local sales objectives. Designed to capitalise on market opportunities and generate demand by through:
• Organisation of events with a focus on account based marketing 
•Support with development of Digital Campaigns – event/product/industry with a focus on account based marketing
•Social Media 
•Administration of the Area Marketing budget
•Building awareness and positioning Teradata as the market leader in data analytics with key stakeholders (customers, prospects, and partners). Ensure the key messages are communicated to these in a clear and consistent manner on a regular basis.
•Work with peers in marketing, sales and consulting to develop clear and concise marketing messages that help raise awareness and position Teradata as the market leader in data and analytics.

Education & Experience Requirements:
•The successful candidate will be self-motivated, resourceful and assertive with excellent communication skills
•A Bachelor (or equivalent) in marketing, communications, business or other related fields is desirable
•Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar position in the IT, software, marketing, media or advertising industry, ideally in B2B.
•Demonstrate understanding of, and practical experience in marketing both at a strategic, operational and tactical level.
•Knowledge of lead management and development processes in a B2B environment
•Teradata’s international language is English so you must be fluent with excellent written and oral communication skills in English
•Availability to work part-time (approx. 25-30 hours per week)
•Occasional travel around the region will be required
