We’re looking for Cloud Network Services Manager to work in our Teradata’s IntelliCloud group. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about automating and leveraging DevOps principles to deliver a Network Platform as a Service, and love the challenge of working in a highly distributed and dynamic Hybrid Cloud environment. In this role, you will be foundational to helping design and operate a Network environment that enable fast paced development and deployments while achieving high availability. Along with a systemic discipline we are also looking for candidates who are open and passionate about exploring new technologies to improve our overall environment.

• Help design and operate highly available software in large distributed and virtual environments
• Strong expertise in leveraging a wide variety of open source technologies
• Manage small to medium-sized projects and/or portions of large projects and assist in resolving issues and planning for new network services and connectivity.


Skills and Experience:
• Experience with Software Defined Networking (SDN) / WAN and Network Configuration Automation (i.e. Scripting with Perl/Python/Bash or DevOps tools like Chef/Puppet/Ansible).
• Extensive knowledge of TCP/IP, VLAN / VXLAN, Spanning Tree, VRF, QoS, BGP, OSPF, MPLS connectivity/architecture.
• Experience with Network monitoring tools/suites such as Solarwinds Nagios and Wireshark.
• Broad technical knowledge of Cisco networking technologies and platforms to include Nexus 9/7/5/2k, ASR 1k and 9k, vPC, OTV, and VDC configuration.
• Strong understanding of IT production environments, operational strategies and mission critical systems to include IT internal controls and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with Disaster Recovery.
• Experience with Load-Balancing (LTM, GTM) and Firewalls / WAF (F5 and Palo Alto preferred).
• Experience with Public Cloud (AWS, Azure)
• Experience working with and automating enterprise scale Data Center Infrastructure and Private Cloud technologies, such as VMWare, Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenStack.
• Experience and knowledge of software development, deployment and testing methodologies
• Experience in Agile methodologies

• US permanent residence.
• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 8+ years technical experience in large scale data center environment
• 5+ years management experience
