Position Title: Managed Services II

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for day to day operation of the SAS platform
  • Responsible for software installation, metadata management and user configuration and access management
  • Application administrator experience creating users, groups, defining libraries, databases (DB2/Oracle/SQL Server/others), creating and implement security profiles, configurations, data migrations, upgrades, and other environmental tasks
  • Monitor SAS platform for operational status and resources, monitor security access to the platform, etc.
  • Engage with business users, operation support team and SAS support. Serves as primary contact for SAS support, troubleshooting and client coordination
  • Provide technical guidance and support to SAS support team
  • Assist in the design and implementation of analytic solutions and perform root cause analysis for critical issues
  • Assists and coordinate with infrastructure team for hardware maintenance and upgrades
  • Provide and generate reports and metrics required by the client



  • At least 3 years relevant experience
  • Experience with SAS in windows environment
  • Experience in SAS Customer Intelligence suite (CI suite)
  • Experience with SAS configuration
  • Experience with SAS Management Console
  • Experience with SSL encryption and Active Directory Authentication
  • Experience with SAS Scheduling Process
  • Experience with SAS server deployment and administration
  • Experience with SAS EBI, EDM, EM, Forecaster, Model Manager, Visual Analytics
  • Experience with different SAS servers and troubleshooting potential configuration problems
  • Web Application Server administration, SAS and OS level security and configuration knowledge
  • Creating user, groups, roles and security schemes
  • Setting up Data Access in SAS and troubleshooting data access
  • Registering libraries and tables in the metadata, updating table metadata
