Position Title: Information Systems Analyst (III)

Summary Description: 

The Hyperion Planning Administrator is a member of the Financial Systems team. This person performs various tasks to assist in completing the forecasting, budgeting and reporting processes. They will act as a system administrator for the company’s planning tool – Hyperion Planning. The person in this position will maintain and update Hyperion Planning, as well as provide user support in completing expense and revenue forecasts.   

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide Hyperion Planning support to end users throughout the organization during the forecast and plan processes
  • Research and resolve issues for the Planning environment, including working with other departments to find solutions
  • Perform monthly maintenance on the applications, and prepare it for a new forecast or plan cycle
  • Maintain metadata, business rules, reports, forms, task lists, and user security
  • Perform data loads/exports, including data validation and investigating data discrepancies
  • Provide training to internal resources as needed
  • Create, maintain, and update system, business processes, and requirements documentation
  • Recommend process improvements as opportunities are identified
  • Perform Hyperion application build tasks and activities including, building reports, forms, business rules, and task lists

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Systems or related field
  • 2+ years Hyperion Planning Administrator experience
  • 2+ years of experience with Hyperion Financial Reports (building reports), Calc Manager (building business rules), and SmartView
  • 5+ years of relevant finance and accounting and/or systems experience
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • A continuous improvement mindset
