Senior DevOps Engineer

External Description:

Teradata test automation (TTA) team is building next generation test automation framework. This framework will provide end to end automation including test scheduling, test execution, test data collection and test data analysis. It will support performance testing, stress testing and functional testing. The team is focused on developing the framework and operationalize it with testing teams across the whole company.

This is the sustaining position in Teradata test automation team and be responsible for support and sustaining for TTA products.

Key Responsibilities   

• Provide prompt and high-quality support to TTA users
• Provide workaround solutions for critical issues and problems
• Fix bugs, test and deploy quickly for TTA users
• Communication, documentation and training to TTA users
• Collaborate with TTA development team and follow TTA development and release process
• Collect user feedback and help evolve TTA framework
• Be able to troubleshoot, analyze and deliver independently
• Be able to handle pressure and be flexible for work time

Basic Qualifications

• Master degree or above
• 3+ years relevant work experience
• DevOps and automation project experience
• Python, shell or Java programming experience
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Understand database and SQL language
• Experience with Source Control and Problem Tracking tools such as GitHub and Jira

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Source Control and Problem Tracking tools such as GitHub and Jira
• Experience with public cloud system like AWS or Azure
• Experience with Ansible and JMeter
• Previous/current Teradata experience
