US Intern Program, 2024

Teradata’s summer Intern program is a place where students of different backgrounds work together with other interns, employees, mentors, and managers in a collaborative environment to build relationships and develop professional skills. During the summer you will have an opportunity to work on meaningful projects that benefit Teradata, our brand, and culture. If you are a student who loves technology and solving complex challenges as part of a team, we would love to meet you.

Our summer internship program lasts 10-12 weeks beginning in May/June and ending in August/September.

Location

Our program is fully virtual. Interns must remain in the US for the duration of the internship.

Your Role

During the various internships in 2024, you will have the opportunity to work with and learn from industry leading professionals in our Sales, Finance, IT, Information Security, Accounting, Audit, and Marketing organizations. You will team up with fellow interns and dynamic cross-functional teams to shape the future of Teradata’s solutions, including Vantage Cloud and Clearscape Analytics.

General Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelors, Masters, or PhD program with a graduation date between December 2024 and June 2026.
• Openness to learn new things and work in a collaborative team environment.
• Critical thinking with ability to research, prove hypothesis and sell ideas for strategic direction.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain tough ideas in an easily understood way.

Hands-on experience within any of the following knowledge areas or technologies will be an advantage, but not a requirement for all internships:

• Basic knowledge of Project Management fundamentals
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) 
• Strong attention to details, critical thinking, problem-solving and time management skills
• Experience with analytical tools and platforms (SQL, R/Python).
